How it all began
“I’m Rebecca Jensen, the founder of Diverse Founders Network Denmark, a platform created to empower ethnic minority entrepreneurs across Denmark. The inspiration for this network began after attending several networking events where I noticed a significant lack of representation for minority founders. These experiences opened my eyes to the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, and I knew something had to change.
With a background in Sales, International Marketing Management, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship, I’ve always been passionate about helping businesses grow and succeed. But through these networking events, I saw that many talented founders—particularly those from ethnic minority groups—struggled to access the right opportunities, mentorship, and support needed to thrive.
This realization motivated me to create Diverse Founders Network Denmark. I wanted to build a space where minority entrepreneurs could find a strong, supportive community, share insights, and gain access to critical resources. It became clear to me that diversity and inclusion weren’t just buzzwords—they were essential to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
Today, Diverse Founders Network Denmark has grown into a thriving platform where founders can connect with mentors, find co-founders, and collaborate on new business ideas. Our goal is to break down the barriers that ethnic minority founders often face, providing the tools and network they need to succeed.
